About LabLink Initiative
LabLink Initiative is a non-profit organization dedicated to bridging the gap between academic research and industry application. We connect students, researchers, and professionals with opportunities that translate innovation into real-world impact.
Our Mission
Educate
Provide resources and guidance to help students and researchers understand the path from lab to market.
Connect
Build bridges between academic institutions, research labs, and industry partners to create meaningful opportunities.
Empower
Equip the next generation of innovators with the skills, knowledge, and networks to drive technological advancement.
Our Story

LabLink Initiative was founded in 2020 by a group of researchers, educators, and industry professionals who recognized a critical gap in the innovation ecosystem: while universities and research labs were producing groundbreaking discoveries, many of these innovations never made it to market due to a lack of commercialization pathways and trained talent.
What began as a small newsletter highlighting research commercialization opportunities has grown into a comprehensive platform that connects students and early-career professionals with internships, training programs, and resources to bridge the lab-to-market gap.
Today, LabLink Initiative partners with leading research institutions, innovation hubs, and companies to create pathways for the next generation of innovators to translate scientific discoveries into real-world impact.
